International school community is a community of diverse people who have a right to feel comfortable here even if they do not share your views, opinions or beliefs. We encourage you to be polite and respectful in your interactions with others. Agree to disagree if things get heated, move on, and avoid passing judgment, blame,shame or guilt onto others.

Use the website’s features as intended. Do not interfere with, interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of the site. Make sure to read and follow additional rules and guidelines in our Terms of Use page. Any misuse of this web site and its services can be considered a violation and result in interrupted or termination of your account.

Each section of International School Community is designed with a purpose. Keep the content you post on-topic with the section you are posting to. For example, profiles are meant to let other know about you so that you can make connections within the community. Using your profile space to harass others, promote a business or rant about any unrelated subject is considered off-topic and a violation.

We caution you against publicly posting or giving out personally identifiable information (such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, name, street addresses, telephone numbers, driver license numbers) to strangers online, which may be used for illegal or harmful purposes. Never send money, or buy anything (including subscriptions to this site) for people whom you’ve met online but never in person. “Romance Scams” or 419 Scams are very common online. These scams often start with simple chats or communications and then evolve into business or personal propositions involving money or goods. Scammers can work victims for months, even years as long as they have a willing participant and something to gain. Take the time to get to know others online, guard your privacy and be suspicious of any type of solicitation especially if it involves money or goods. Please report anyone you suspect are participating in a scam and include all the pertinent data with your report.

If you do post content that portrays other people, make sure you have their explicit permission and that they are aware and comfortable with their image or data being posted on this site.

Community Guidelines

Community Guidelines - International School Community offers a place to meet, interact, share and communicate with other members. Our community is a diverse place made up of international educators from all over the world with different opinions, backgrounds and beliefs. The guidelines documented here have been devised to promote respect within our user base and maintain a level of experience that is enjoyable and satisfactory for everyone. As a member of our community, we request that you abide by the International School Community “Community Guidelines” and our Terms of Use. The Community Guidelines and Terms of Use apply to all areas of the International School Community site and all services offered tomembers as part of their membership. Members who violate the Guidelines or our Terms of Use may have the use of their International School Community account interrupted, suspended or terminated without notice or refund.
