Stay updated with the latest comments and experiences from QSI International School of Dili: 21 Sep, 2018 Tell about your experience with the local banks and dealing with multiple currencies.: I never deal with banks. In Timor, they use USD and QSI pays employees in cash each month. As long as you have enough cash, you never need to deal with banks or converting currency. I bring extra cash with me when I come each year and so far I haven\'t even needed to use an ATM. ATMs here will charge you a $7 service fee..
